Tootsietoys Cars, Trucks, Boats & Airplanes

Tootsietoys were made back as far as the early 1900's and are still available today.  They were very simply made with minimal details.  One of their earlier advertisements says " These Tootsietoys are Durable as Well as Colorful ". This may have been an understatement!   
Sold typically in small sets of a few cars and or trucks that were a scale smaller than the Matchbox or Hot Wheels . There were some that were scaled more nearly to the Dinky or Corgi line of cars and trucks.

The pictures below are some rough examples of cars and trucks.  Note these examples are of models made from the 1950's through the 1970's.
