Matt Mason Exploration

Since Matt was an explorer of space he had to move around the planet he and his co-workers were exploring. Numerous simple small modes of transportation were available as seen below as well as other ways to explore the surface. Click on the smaller pictures for a larger view.
The orange (also available in white) Cat Trac was common to be used with the space men. Note the catalog item is very different from the store bought
Matt had a Space Shelter that came with a map, compass and inflator.
The Space Sled was the major form of transportation but required the jet propulsion pack with the string to work. Most of the Matt Mason items were active and worked, this one would run across the floor, but could be stored flat as seen to the right.
Other forms of transportation included the ReconJet (white) which would fit on top of the space station and the string would be used to transport the item. The antenna on the roof would turn as the item moved.

Though not a form of transportation the Satellite Launcher was a useful tool to Matt and friends.
The Space Power Suit looked more like it should go underwater than in space, but it had power limbs to make it very useful.

A number of small tools were used including wrenched, screwdrivers, radiation detectors, cameras, walkie-talkies and binoculars.
